On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Techno demonstration Rave the Planet returns to the road of June 17th. Around 300,000 participants are expected under the motto “Our Future is now”. The protest withdrawal is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. and end around 10 p.m.

The event is organized by Dr. Moth, the co -founder of the original love parade. The aim is to set a political sign of peace, diversity and the preservation of club culture with music. Rave the Planet was launched in 2019 and can now describe itself as an established rave event in the capital.

The route through Berlin
The demonstration runs across the street of June 17th, once around the victory column to the Brandenburg Gate. Along the route there is a nature reserve and the monument for the Sinti and Roma murdered in National Socialism. The organizers therefore call for respectful behavior.
You can easily reach the demo via the following train stations: Zoological Garden, Bellevue, Hauptbahnhof, Friedrichstrasse, Potsdamer Platz and Hansaplatz.
The following streets will be blocked:
The street of June 17th is completely closed from Friday, July 11, 6 p.m. to Sunday, July 13th, around 10 a.m. between the Great Star and the Square March 18. Yitzhak-Rabin-Straße, parts of Ebertstrasse and Pariser Platz are also affected. The big star will not be passable from Saturday morning, 9 a.m. to Sunday morning, 3 a.m. The John Foster Dulles-Allee and numerous access roads around the event area are also tight during this period. Scheidemannstrasse is closed on Saturday evening from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
These acts occur
The Rave-the Planet demo is primarily dedicated to electronic music. Around 35 music cars – so -called floats – with acts like Dr. Motte, Westbam, Oguz and Saytek. If you want to dance directly on a truck, you need a ticket, which sometimes costs over 140 euros.
That’s what it’s about
In addition to celebrating, it is about clear demands: a statutory techno holiday, the protection of clubs, the abolition of dance bans and the recognition of electronic music as an intangible cultural heritage. The right of assembly should also be modernized.

Important instructions
Glass bottles and pyrotechnics are prohibited. Flags or banners with nationalist or exclusive messages are undesirable. A joint clean-up day will take place on Sunday, a call to all Raver: inside, to leave the zoo clean.

On Saturday, July 12th, continuous rain can be expected. According to current weather forecasts, the maximum temperature should be around 20 degrees. Accordingly, weatherproof clothing is recommended.
