The Flemish cultural and creative sector (CCS) consists of 12 sectors: architecture, the audiovisual sector, visual arts, the communication sector, the design sector, heritage, the game sector, printed and digital media, the fashion sector, music, new media and performing arts. The CCS accounts for around 225,000 workers, 7.5 percent of the Flemish labor force and nearly 90,000 self -employed people (16 percent).
