“A shame”: fans stand on cemetery graves

Undetent scenes on the second stage of the Tour de France. In a mountain ranking, some fans were on graves of a cemetery. Apparently to have a better view.
The first two stages of this year’s Tour de France offered pure excitement. So also with a mountain ranking shortly before the finish of the second stage. The point in Saint-Etienne-Au-Mont crossed the tourta on Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard as the first, Pogačar prevailed and conquered the mountain jersey.
At the top of the mountain ranking, the route led past a cemetery. Some spectators used it to have a better view of the exciting thing. In doing so, they did not consider and partially faced the graves.
The network is realized by the behavior of the fans. On X a user writes: “What a shame!” Another speaks of “total disrespect”. A third user asks: “How can you do something like that ???”
But not only the spectators on the tombstones became a problem on Sunday. Other fans even risk the health of the drivers. Because of some mountain arrivals, smoking pots were ignited, which, in addition to the nuisance of odors, also pose a security risk for the drivers – because the view is severely restricted by the fireworks.
“Smoke bombs have no place in bike races. We let the tour drivers inhale a disgusting stench and also blind them,” said tour director Christian Prudhomme in 2018. Some fans do not seem to have not yet internalized.
