After 13 years: Union professional returns to ex-club

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Return after 13 years: Kevin Vogt will be running again for VfL Bochum in the future. The 33-year-old changes from Union Berlin to the second division club and signed a contract until 2027. This was announced on Monday. Nothing became known about the amount of the transfer.
Vogt once started his career in the Bochum junior performance center. In 2009 he celebrated his Bundesliga debut for VfL. After his farewell in 2012, the Bochum native played for Augsburg, Cologne, Hoffenheim, Bremen and most recently for Union. Overall, the central defender has 353 missions in the Bundesliga.
World champion Ron-Robert Zieler could switch to Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln this summer. He would move back to his hometown. This is what the internet portal “Transfer market” and the “kicker” report. Accordingly, the 36-year-old could soon be in the Cologne squad.
