Hannover 96 celebrates the start of the season with top Italian opponents

The final preparations are running, the season for Hannover 96 will soon begin. The association for the fan festival-including top opponents from Italy, invites you to the fan festival in advance.
Hannover 96 opens the new season with a large fan festival on Saturday, July 26th, in the immediate vicinity of the Heinz-von-Heiden-Arena. A varied program for the whole family awaits the fans on the northern forecourt of the stadium.
A real endurance test is on the program. The highlight of the day is the test game against the Italian first division club Cagliari Calcio. The game begins at 2 p.m. in the stadium and serves the last time before starting in the 2025/26 second division season.
The stage program on the radio 21 stage starts from 3 p.m. Visitors can look forward to performing the house band The Jetlags, the band Wingenfelder and Anca & Ossy, who will perform the club anthem “96-Old Love” live. There will also be a presentation of the U23 team that will start in the 3rd league in the coming season.
At 5 p.m. the professional team presents itself to the fans. Afterwards there is a large autograph session in which the players are available for photos and conversations.
For the small fans there are various hands -on offers all day long, including a children’s disco and activities with mascot Eddi. Numerous stands take care of the physical well -being of the visitors.
