The Red Bull Sailing Academy, one of the most advanced sailors in Europe’s higher training centers, has officially opened its doors today in Marina Monfalcone, with a spectacular event that has attracted a large crowd of enthusiastic visitors, marking an electrifying start for its future path. The event was attended by the members of the Red Bull Italy Sailgp Team, above all the Olympic champion Ruggero Tita, the plurivincitor of America’s Cup Jimmy Spithill and the former Olympian, today CEO of Marina Monfalcone, Hans-Peter Steinacher. The Red Bull Sailing Academy is a center of excellence for the formation of young sailing talents worldwide. Accessible only by invitation after an advanced scouting process, it offers a highly selective and personalized path. The athletes benefit from the highest level coaching as a former Olympic medalists such as Hans Peter Steinacher, Santiago Lange, Roman Hagara and Thomas Zajac, as well as technical support, test on equipment, logistics and athletic and mental preparation in collaboration with the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center. The Academy also supports emerging disciplines such as Kitefoil and Windfoil, with the aim of forging the future protagonists of water -based water sports.
