After the stabbing at Oude Molenstraat in Assen last night, the police arrested three minor boys. Two of them come from Assen, the third from Gieten. All three are still detained and are interrogated about their role in the incident.
Two people were injured in the stabbing. One of the suspects was also injured. Immediately after the report, the police were on site with several vehicles and the area was dropped off. Ambulances also came to the site of the incident to provide assistance.
The police are still investigating the reason for the incident. For example, trace research is done, neighborhood research is conducted and we look at possible camera images.
It may be a mutual conflict between those involved.
