Two accidents in training Silverstone

In the last training session for the race in Silverstone, a Ferrari took the lead. However, two accidents in the final phase prevented the further hunt.
In the last training session, Charles Leclerc took the top of the field in front of the Grand Prix of Great Britain. The Ferrari driver drove the fastest round on the traditional course in Silverstone and thus left Oscar Piatri in the McLaren and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen.
Lewis Hamilton, who was able to win Silverstone nine times, was also on a strong course in the second Ferrari, but had to stop his round. There was a part of the rubble on the track, which is why the training was temporarily interrupted with red. After the last positive trend at Ferrari, the 40-year-old also pays off for the upcoming race chances for a podium.
Nico Hülkenberg landed in the 15th place in the kick-Sauber. A serious incident caused unrest shortly before the end of the training: Hülkenberg’s teammate Gabriel Bortoleto lost control of his vehicle and ended up in the gravel bed after a violent impact with damaged front wheel suspension. Shortly afterwards, Haas driver Oliver Bearman bounded into the limitation when entering the pit lane.
Before the twelfth run of the season, which will start on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (in the live ticker near T-Online), Piatri is in the overall ranking with 15 points ahead of his team-mate Lando Norris. Defending champion Verstappen follows with 61 points behind in third place.
