Rúben Neves was the best friend of Diogo Jota. The death of his long-time teammate took the participant in the club World Cup.

Rúben Neves had posted an Instagram contribution to Diogo Jota shortly before the game. In the picture you can see Al-Hilal’s player as he directed the tie Jotas. Neves also wrote: “We are more than friends, we are a family, and we will stay. (…) If I drive to the national team, you will continue to sit next to me at the dining table, on the bus, on the plane … You will always be with me.”
