Dow Jones-Volkswagen and HR board Gunnar Kilian go separate paths. As the carmaker announced, Kilian will leave the group board of Volkswagen AG with immediate effect. The reason for this are different ideas in the control of investment companies. Kilian, who has been on the board since 2018, is also responsible for the “Trucks” division. The HR department is temporarily taken over Thomas Schäfer.
“Gunnar Kilian has had a significant proportion of the group’s transformation work in recent years,” said supervisory board chief Hans Dieter Pötsch. “He has established the personnel area sustainable and was responsible for the realignment of the commercial vehicle business.”
