One of the two men who were injured on Tuesday morning in a stabbing in an apartment on the Malvalaan in Waalre was arrested. It is a 67-year-old man from Waalre. The police take into account that it is a home robbery that got out of hand, but also take other scenarios into account.
According to the police, there is still much unclear in the case. Around half past ten a report came to the police that took place something in the apartment. Once there, the police found two injured men. One of them was the 93-year-old resident.
He had several stab wounds. Both men were so injured that they were taken to the hospital immediately. The second injured man, a 67-year-old man from Waalre, was arrested as a suspect. He had injuries on his head.
