Thieves have stolen four puppies in broad daylight from a garden on the Angoralaan in Oss. The perpetrators opened the gate at Angela’s house on Sunday and removed the four puppies. The mother dog and two other puppies left the burglars. “It’s just terrible,” says Angela.

When she was away from home on Sunday evening, the thieves made their move. “We were just a block and when we returned around eight o’clock the shed door was open and the lock was broken open.”

Angela was shocked when she only found three dogs inside. She and her husband wanted to breed a litter once with their dog. The puppies were now nine weeks old and would almost go to another owner. “The intention was that they would all end up well. But I am worried about where they are now.”

“You can ask a thousand euros for such a dog.”

These are Pomshi puppies, a cross between a pomerian and a shih tzu. A sought -after breed, Angela knows. “It will be about money,” she says. “The price for such a dog is around 1000 euros.”

It seems that the thieves knew where to be. Yet Angela has no idea who can sit behind the theft. She reported a report to the police on Wednesday afternoon and also informed the animal ambulance. There they are also stunned about the brutal theft. “Who does something like that?” The employees wonder.

The puppies are chipped and registered. With that registration there is now a report that they have been stolen. The animal ambulance therefore at the heart of people buying a puppy to always check the chip in advance.
