McDonald’s says it is the first hamburger chain in Finland to offer completely vegan nuggets.

The McDonald’s fast -food chain brings vegan nuggets vegetable pieces alongside its traditional chicken nuggets. The product will be available at restaurants today Wednesday. The product becomes a permanent part of McDonald’s offering throughout Finland.
Vegan nuggets are made of wheat protein and baked in a different baking pool than products containing raw materials of animal origin. Vegetable nuggets are sold as a dose of 4, 6, 9 or 20 pieces, 6 or 9 meals and as part of a children’s meal.
– We listen to the wishes of our customers with a delicate ear and we are proud to meet the wish of vegan nuggets now. We want to provide delicious moments and options for everyone, and Veggie Nuggets are already a great complement to our strong vegetarian and vegan products in Finland, McDonald’s Finnish Menu and Innovation Manager Olli Tiainen says in the bulletin.
There are several fully vegan dips options: Barbeque, Curry and sour diameter with vegetable nuggets.
Veggie nuggets have been developed in the Nordic countries and were first launched in Sweden last month. Veggie nuggets are part of a permanent selection in all Nordic hills.
McDonald’s restaurants have long been offering various vegetarian and vegan products. The world’s first vegan McDonald’s burger, McVegan, was launched in Finland in 2017.
Other completely vegan products include rye Mcvegan, Vegan Burger and French potatoes.
