The fire brigade in Coevorden liberated a small bird from his or her plight this morning. The animal got stuck in a tube of the extraction of a house.
A ladder car from the fire brigade was used to reach the bird at the roof of the house on Toutenburglaan.
The extractor pipe was approached from above and so it was possible to give the bird a hand in the pinch. The firefighters managed to remove the animal from the extraction line and bring it down safely. The bird does not seem to have been injured.
