AC/DC in Berlin: The rock icons are currently amusing Europe with their stoic, grandioseHard rock. Which program Angus, Brian & Co. would open was foreseeable-AC/DC, apart from line-up changes, have actually been unchanged for decades. Stadium Hardrock in XXL format with devil horns and school young uniform-almost all classics, now and then a new song, done. Great. It was no different in Berlin, where the band on June 30th. gave a concert in the Olympic Stadium.
As already mentioned: Great surprises should not be expected from Accadacca, as they are lovingly called in their homeland. So there was the proverbial hit fireworks between the hell of the hell, highway in the realm of the body and of course rock’n’roll-saluten and cannon thunder.
The band opened with “If You Want Blood (You’ve got it)”, went seamlessly into “Back in Black”. This was followed by classics such as “Thunderstruck” and “High Voltage”, but also newer pieces such as “Shot in the Dark” or “Demon Fire”. The regular set ended AC/DC with “Let There be rock” before returning for a two-song addition-consisting of “TNT” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)”.
