The German volleyball players celebrated the third victory in a row in the Nations League.

In Belgrade, the team of national coach Michal Winiarski prevailed against host Serbia 3: 1 (25:20, 25:21, 23:25, 25:17). For the selection of the German Volleyball Association (DVV), it was the fourth victory in the eighth game of the Nations League.

Filip John again shone against the Serbs as a German top scorer. The diagonal attacker scored a total of 27 points. On Thursday, the German team prevailed 3-1 against the Netherlands, and a 3-1 against Iran followed on Saturday.

After completing the second week of the tournament, there is now a short breather. The DVV selection is only challenged in mid-July, in the last week of the tournament the path leads to Japan. In Chiba, the German team once again measures top -class opponents, in addition to the host, Turkey, the USA and Brazil are also waiting.
