Borussia Dortmund has achieved a fundamental agreement with Chelsea FC about the change of wing player Jamie Gitten.
This was confirmed by BVB in the team quarters of the Club World Cup in Fort Lauderdale. The Bundesliga club made no more detailed information about the amount of the transfer.
However, the BVB had always requested around 65 million euros. Since Chelsea had recently offered less, a transfer had not come about before the tournament in the United States.
Gittens was already on the way to the medical check in the neighborhood of the English on Saturday, who contest their round of 16 against Benfica Lisbon in Charlotte in the afternoon (local time).

In addition, the BVB can continue to use loan players Carney Chukwuemeka at the Club World Cup in the USA. Sports director Sebastian Kehl announced on the edge of a public training in front of almost 200 invited fans.
“There is positive news at Carney. I have had the conversations with Chelsea. In the end, we have a general agreement that Carney stays with us as long as this tournament for Borussia Dortmund will go,” said Kehl.
Rental business actually ends on Monday
The 21 -year -old midfielder was only loaned by Chelsea until June 30th. However, the BVB round of 16 against CF Monterrey will take place on July 1st (9:00 p.m. local time). Chukwuemeka did not take part in the training on Sunday due to illness.
