During the summer, hair is subjected to more burdens than in other seasons.

– In the summer, cottage and beach life attract you to the sea or chlorine water. In addition, the cottage may have a well water to wash the hair. The composition of sea, chlorine and well water can damage the condition of the hair, dry and thus cause breaking, Hemminki says.
“After swimming, you should always rinse and wash your hair with clean tap water so that the salt of seawater and chlorine of the pool water will not dry the hair even further,” he recalls.
In the summer, it is worthwhile to take care of a variety of nutrition – also from hair perspective.
– Summer is a time when you may not take care of so much healthy eating or resort to instant diets. One of the leading causes of hair breakage is the deficiency of nutrients. Hair cells constantly need important nutrients, which makes healthy hair start from the inside.
Avoid straining hair
During the hot summer season, the hair is kept on a lot. However, it is a mechanical burden on the hair that weakens and consumes the structure of the hair – and thus causes breaking.
– It would be good to avoid keeping too tight hairstyles or ponytail.
– Often, in the summer, feeling and life are also a little more carefree. We are at the cottage, may sleep in a tent, adventure in nature and easily happen to not pay attention to hair washing routines. Not enough hair is treated or even going with wet hair to sleep. Wet hair is more susceptible to strain, Hemminki says.
– If you go to bed with wet hair, your hair will also get tangled more easily, and in the morning you have to find out more strongly. It consumes and brittle the hair mechanically.

Prevention
The hair breaking should be prevented by choosing the right care and protective products.
– Hair breaking can occur as the hair dries and thus brittle. Hair structure requires hair strengthening and moisturizing treatment routines.
It is a good idea to choose from hair protective products in the summer for those that contain UV protection.
Underneath the design equipment, a thermal protection product is designed to increase moisture and include heat-resistant raw materials that make the hair protective of the hair. It prevents the natural moisture of the hair from evaporation.
– People avoid the use of heating equipment in vain for fear of drying hair. Those who do not fragile the structure of the hair should be selected from the heat equipment, Hemminki says.
Too hot temperature melts the hair keratin. Too low temperatures, on the other hand, do not achieve the desired result with one stroke, which increases mechanical stress.
– The optimal temperature for the heat design of the hair is 185 degrees.
Drying with a hair dryer is worthwhile because wet hair is more susceptible to damage. However, when drying, it is a good idea to choose milder temperatures and avoid over -drying hair so that the inside of the hair does not start to disappear.
Also avoid treating the hair too much chemically.
– Particularly in the summer, lighter hair is often needed and the hair may be chemically oversized.
This is how you moisturize
High moisturizing in maintaining and strengthening the structure of the hair plays a key role.
“It does not only help the hair color to glow, but also keeps fluffy, leaves every hair and prevents breaking,” Hemminki says.
In addition to moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, it is advisable to apply a moisturizing hair mask from time to time, for example every fifth wash.
– Choose one that preserves more washing, and use a lighter conditioner between the masks, Hemminki recommends.
Strong hair grows from a healthy, well -groomed scalp. According to Hemming, moisturizing the scalp is important.
– The recommendation is to apply moisturizing serum to the scalp after the hair towel drying when the hair is washed. The scalp treatment is forgotten, although the scalp is also the skin that should be moisturized throughout.
After the scalp serum, it is also advisable to apply a moisturizing conditioner that can also be mixed with hair oil and then applied to hair lengths and tops.
Choosing the right products is important to keep the hair moisturizing enough, but not too much. Do not choose too heavy care products to flatter hair.

Many factors make it easier for some hair to break more easily than others.
– Hair quality refers to the sum of the different properties of the hair. The quality of the hair is also greatly influenced by genetic properties. Some hair quality is naturally more breakable than others. Such a hair type also often has fewer lipids and the scalp is less sebum secretion – the hair is more moisture.
Traditionally, the thicker the hair is, the stronger it is and does not break so easily.
– But thick, coarse hair can suffer from a lack of moisture and be more breakable than a more delicate hair. Natural curly hair is usually moisture poverty than straight hair, Hemminki says.
The structure and composition of the curl hair is different from the straight. Natural curly hair is often porous, meaning they lose moisture faster and therefore break easier.
Age can also have an effect.
– With age, the lipid level of the hair decreases, the hair becomes more moisture and becomes harder, fragile and easier to break. Changes in body hormone balance also affect hair quality.
In addition, some diseases and medications affect the structure of the hair. In this case, the hair does not grow strong and breaks easier.
