Carapaz Mist Tour de France due to gastrointestinal infection
8.11 pm: Richard Carapaz cannot participate in the Tour de France next week. The cyclist from Ecuador has a gastrointestinal infection, reports his team EF Education – Easypost.
Carapaz, who finished third in the Tour of Italy at the beginning of this month, suffered the infection during a training in Ecuador. He now stays in his home country to recover. “Our medical team, together with his doctors in Ecuador, has currently discouraged and competitions. That is why Richard will not participate in the Tour de France this year,” said EF Education – Easypost’s statement.

Hockey players are celebrating win Pro League with victory in Belgium
