At the NK gymnastics in Rotterdam Ahoy, the all -around titles have become a prey for Tisha Volleman from Eindhoven and Jermain Grünberg from Tilburg. It is his first Dutch title for Grünberg and that after a difficult period due to the death of his stepfather. “Becoming a Dutch champion is fun and after such a period extra beautiful.”
Tisha already took the multi -camp title with the seniors in 2017 and again eight years later. On Saturday she also won the title at the NK Jazzdans with an Eindhoven team in Rotterdam. At De Meerkamp there was bronze for Shadé van Oorschot from Boxtel.
“I am particularly happy with this title. Due to dancing earlier in the day I could not have been able to get in turn, but I still have the double,” says Eindhoven. “I felt the acidification at one point, but I am happy that it worked. I have already done many competitions and fortunately was able to fall back on that experience. This title gives motivation to continue to build towards further tournaments.”
For Jermain Grünberg (24) the Dutch title came after an emotionally difficult period. “I am very proud, but I am certainly not there yet. I’m going to train hard to get my difficulty values even more up.”
