The 1. FC Köln starts away in the Bundesliga season 2025/26. In addition, there is a repetition of carnival and a highlight on the 34th matchday.

The fans of 1. FC Köln have to stand on many trips at the start of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. After the first round in the DFB Cup at SSV Jahn Regensburg (August 17, 5:30 p.m.), the billy goats also go to the strangers on the first three out of four match days.

The Bundesliga start for the FC is an away game at the 1st FSV Mainz 05. The first home game back in the football upper house will take place on matchday 2 against the Europa League participant SC Freiburg. After that, it goes to the opponent twice in a row: There are two more away trips in Wolfsburg and Leipzig before VfB Stuttgart in Müngersdorf will be guests on the 5th matchday.

Speaking of Stuttgart: For the team of new coach Lukas Kwasniok, there is a repetition against VfB. After the Cologne carnival game was already played in Stuttgart in February 2023, the billy goats travel to the Swabia again in 2026. And there is another parallel to the 2022/23 season.

As three years ago, FC will meet FC Bayern Munich on the last match day of the first half of the season. The reigning German champion will be a guest in Müngersdorf on the 17th matchday in January 2026 before the top team of former FC goalkeeper Jonas Urbig welcomes the goats on 34th and last matchday in May in the Allianz Arena.

And finally all FC fans are looking forward to the derbies against Borussia Mönchengladbach and the duels against the arch-rival from Leverkusen. On the 10th matchday, FC will travel to Gladbach before going to Cologne for the second leg in March. Against Leverkusen, FC must first go away in December before going against Bayer-Elf on match day 31 at home in Müngersdorf.
