Although less than 1 percent of companies in Flanders are under foreign control, those companies account for around 30 percent of the wage -earning employment and of the gross added value. In the so -called strategic sectors, such as digital infrastructure, cyber safety and energy, foreign dominance is even greater. That is apparent on Friday from two new studies.
