Hamburger SV will compete at FC Bayern Munich on the 3rd matchday of the upcoming Bundesliga season. According to the HSV, the game takes place between September 12 and 14, 2025 in the Allianz Arena.
The German Football League (DFL) officially publishes the full schedule for the Bundesliga season 2025/26 on Friday, June 27th. However, individual information has already been communicated to the clubs.
After the return to the Bundesliga, HSV is the first away game at the German champion FC Bayern Munich. The complete game plan will be communicated on Friday via the club’s official channels.
It was only on Friday (2 p.m.) that the DFL released the complete game schedule for the new season in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga. Surprisingly, the league released the opening game of the 1st league on Thursday morning: Master Bayern Munich welcomes RB Leipzig in the Allianz Arena on August 22nd (8:30 p.m.).
A second game from the 1st matchday is also to be published in advance on Thursday. However, fans have to guess what the focus is on – the HSV may also be part of the solution.

Midfielder Ludovit Reis leaves Hamburger SV: The North Germans gave the 25-year-old’s change request “after many conversations and frequent considerations”, as the club announced in the evening.
