In 2026 an exhibition area will open to the public with over 500 cars, works of art and gadgets for the public
One hundred and twenty -five years of four -wheeled history on display in Flins, the historic factory Renault automatically associated with the production of successful compact compacts, like the first R5 and the Clio. Since it was inaugurated in 1952, she has baked over 18 million vehicles, and has been the subject of a conversion program that made it a technological pole dedicated to sustainable mobility. From 2026 it will also host the exhibition spaces open to the public, with visits and exhibitions distributed over over 2,400 linear meters of archives, documents and objects, which narrate the story of Renault. Fans will be able to buy posters and posters, design sketches, cars and toys, pedal cars, cups and medals, but also works that make up Renault’s bibliography.

Above all, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an automotive path started with the Type a of 1898, to get to the R4 and R5 electricpassing through compact, MPV, SUVs and Renault commercial vehicles. Historical testimonies of the sports commitment of the Losanga cannot be missing, such as the Renault RS01 of 1978. It was the first single -seater of Formula 1 Equipped with turbo engine, the 1.5 -liter 530 HP of power for a dry weight of about 600 kg. Not far away, the glorious Renault Alpine A442B who triumphed a Le Mans In 1978, with the drivers Didier Pironi and Jean-Pierre Jausaud. Over half of the cars on display are still functional, practically all with bodywork in perfect condition thanks to the work done by a team of six qualified technicians, engaged in the restoration and maintenance of the vehicles of the Renault collection. The new structure, in fact, will also host a restoration workshop dedicated to interventions on mechanics and bodywork. The collection will change over time, expanding with new arrivals and with the sale of double specimens. Days 6 and 7 December 2025 an auction will be organized by Artcurial.
Space for art

As mentioned, the automotive exhibition will always be accompanied by initiatives dedicated to the world of art with the creation of the Renault fund for art and culture in June 2024. A project created to lengthen the future to the works of the collection, and expand it with contemporary artists. Among the objectives of the fund there is to preserve the past assets, but also to support today’s emerging artists with particular attention to Street Art. The historical collection includes several hundred works, including the photos of Robert Doisneau, whose career is intimately linked to Renault, the work of Arman created on the Renault 4 of 1967, the series of Eró dedicated to Renault 5the pieces of Victor Vasarely and the works inspired by Jean Dubuffet’s Art Brut.
