Aino-Kaisa Saarinen wonders about the German Ski Association’s reaction to Olympic winner Victoria Carl’s doping cart.

The German Alliance and the Defense Forces said they would hope that Carl would not be punished. The skier had used a doctor prescribed cough medicine during the military World Skiing in March.

– We stand behind clean sports, but also behind justice and responsibility, the Communications Manager of the Union Stefan Schwarzbach comment in the press release.

According to Saarinen, the Germans sounds special.

“For example, in Finland, such a doping case is very unacceptable if it has been a completely clear smell, and the A and B samples have been studied,” says ex-skier.

– I think the covenant should also be of the fact that the rules are being followed. If they have been broken, then there will be a punishment, he sees.

Saarinen thinks it is good to get the douncing athletes into the nipple. However, the case does not flatter cross -country skiing in general.

– You would think there would have already been enough warning examples there so you shouldn’t try it. It seems strange that someone is even bothering to try. But of course these are enough, Saarinen ponders.
