A visit to TT Kermis in Assen ended tonight for two children on an annoying experience. At a height of 20 meters a boy and a girl got stuck in the bowl of the slingshot.
The attraction could no longer be reduced due to a technical defect. As a result, the fire brigade was called in to safely bring the children back to the ground. The fire brigade pulled out with a car ladder and a tanker sprayer.
With the ladder, the fire brigade was able to bring the children to safety. When that had happened, the spectators at the fair were cheers. “The children are safe,” says a fire brigade spokesperson.
