ROoma, 24 Jun. (askanews) – The trailer of the new “Sandokan” was finally revealed, the series directed by Jan Maria Michelini and Nicola Abbatangelo starring the Turkish actor Can Yaman. The new Kabir Bedi arrived at the Italian Global Series Festival in Riccione hand in hand with her new girlfriend, the DJ Sara Bluma, to present this series international event produced by Lux Vide in collaboration with Rai Fiction. In the new adaptation of the novels of novels by Emilio Salgari there are Alanah Bloor, Alessandro Preziosi, and Westwick, John Hannah.
The historic series directed by Sergio Sollima with Kabir Bedi aired with extraordinary success in 1976, now we return to the Borneo in the mid -1800s. In the paradise inhabited by the native tribes of the Dayak dominate the British with their ruthless laws. Sandokan is a character who fights for himself and for his pirate crew, including the trusted Yanez. But his life changes when, during an incursion, he meets Marianna, the beautiful daughter of Labuan’s British console.
It is the beginning of an impossible love story between two unexpectedly similar souls: Marianna, of noble blood, but with the wild spirit of those who grew up in a tropical paradise, and Sandokan, a pirate and adventurer leader, who brings in itself the blood of King Warriors. The legendary pirate hunter, Lord James Brooke, who will not stop in front of anything in order to capture Sandokan and conquer Marianna’s heart, will be put on their tracks.
