Actor Timo Kankainen has died at the age of 79.

Kankainen started his career as the organizer and actor of the Mikkeli Theater in the 1960s.
From Mikkeli, Kankainen ended up through the Tampere Theater, Jyväskylä City Theater, Kouvola Theater and Lahti City Theater to Seinäjoki
Kankainen made a career with the theater for almost 50 years. He retired from the Seinäjoki City Theater in 2011.
