In the summer of 2022, FC Bayern gave its superstar Robert Lewandowski back and forth to FC Barcelona and used the favor of the hour for a true transfer offensive under the then sports director Hasan Salihamidzic. Just three years later there is nothing left of it.
After the final departure of Mathys Tel zu Tottenham Hotspur, it is clear: The last new addition of FC Bayern from the 2022/23 season has also broken off his tents on Säbener Strasse.
Two transfer phases were completely eradicated in three years, one could say. Nothing has remained of the once celebrated squad policy of the then sports director Hasan Salihamidzic.
