The beloved of Michael van Gerwen liked it. When he stood on stage with his arrows to rake the money, she had very different things to do. And the darter? He didn’t know anything about it. Now she has left with another, their family is upset and Michael has been out for a while to process everything.
Moved period
Michael is now back and he speaks to a camera crew from Sportnieuws.nl. “Everyone knows that it has been a moved period for me. You have to try to make the best of that. Of course I also have two children,” he says.
He made his comeback this weekend in Belgium. “Of course I did not know which tournament did not know in advance. For me it is the most important thing: if I leave home, then things just have to be well arranged. Then it is: when is that?”
‘Don’t stop’
You just have to continue living, Michael explains. “You can linger in the past, but I also have to go through and immediately work again and do something that I really like and that is of course darts at the highest level. Life doesn’t stop, isn’t it?”

A kind of glow
Bart Ettekoven, her colleague, agrees. He says in the show section: “Yes, he has a kind of glow, right?”
Dyantha: “Yes, a glow up.”
