The Champions Café in Plopsaland De Panne, known for the popular series ‘FC De Kampioenen’, is in danger of being demolished. Plopsaland submitted a building application for a new project on the Dorpsplein, near the entrance to the park. The plans state that various existing buildings have to make way for a new entertainment complex. This would also affect the cafe where countless fans still come to drink a ‘chocolate’ or daily dish in the wake of their TV heroes.
