With the departure of Bernd Storck and technical director Rembert Vromant, Cercle has not only implemented rejuvenation on a trainer’s surface. The new technical director is Luciano Moschio. Cercle attracts experience with Pieter Gerkens (rented at AA Gent) on player plane. “We have learned that it will be difficult with only young boys. We want to surround them well with leadership and personality,” said Reynaert.
The 18-year-old Ibrahima Diaby, who comes from PSG, symbolizes the new vision. Cinel himself is eager to start at Cercle. “I already knew Cercle, know what football they play and what the project entails. When I was called, I immediately knew that I would fit here as a trainer.”
With this approach, Cercle Brugge hopes to make progress again and to start the season with fresh impetus.
