16 villages and refugee camp evacuated due to presumably lit forest fire on the Greek island of Chios

More than a hundred firefighters, assisted by helicopters and aircraft that secured water, fighting a large forest fire on the Greek island of Chios. The Greek public broadcaster ‘ERT’ reported that sixteen villages should be evacuated by the heavy smoke development. A large reception and registration camp for migrants was also evacuated.
