Larry Meyer from Hoogeveen has been named Knight in the Order of Oranje Nassau. He received the award from Mayor Martijn Breukelmans.
Meyer is, among other things, the driving force of Taekwondoverenveriging Sidokwan, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
The mayor praised Meyer’s work with young people, whom he gives structure, self -confidence and rhythm.
