Daniil Medvedev beats Alexander Zverev in Halle
Daniil Medvedev has reached the final of the Halle tournament. The third place placed in the semi-final battle was too strong for the German Alexander Zverev: 7-6 (3), 6-7 (1), 6-4.
The 28-year-old Zverev was placed second in Germany. He has never won the Halle tournament, but reached the final in 2016 and 2017.
Zverev lost to the American Taylor Fritz last Sunday in the final battle of the Stuttgart tournament. He returned to Medvedev in the second set after a backlog of 2-0, but had to give in the third set after a failed storage.

The 22-year-old Alcaraz encounters in the final at Jirilehecka, the Czech who, in his semi-final battle, defeated the second Brit Jack Draper: 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. Draper is sixth on the world ranking. Lehecka is the global number 30 of the tennis ladder.
