After Pinkpop, Van den Berg will also play at the Krezip show in the Ziggo Dome on December 6. “It’s a bit of a swallow for us, and probably for you too, but we are really looking forward to being able to play these special shows with him and to be able to say goodbye to him in a nice way as our drummer (swallow),” writes the band. “Bram can’t wait to see you all again and celebrate all those beautiful years together.”
The drummer strengthened U2 from September 2023 to March 2024 at a concert series in Las Vegas. He replaced Larry Mullen Jr., who temporarily could not play to recover from surgery. Van den Berg came to his temporary job through Martin Garrix, who introduced the drummer and the band to each other.
