Spitse was released 243 times for Orange, with which she is a record holder in Europe. For Ajax she played a total of 138 matches. Since her arrival to Amsterdam, Spitse won the KNVB Cup in 2022 with Ajax and became Dutch champion in 2023. Earlier she played for SC Heerenveen, FC Twente and the Norwegian clubs LSK Kvinner FK and Vålerenga IF.
