American citizen killed and twenty people were injured in Russian drone attack on Kyiv

In a Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in the night from Monday to Tuesday, an American citizen was killed and at least twenty people were injured, Mayor Vitali Klitsjko reports on Telegram. “During the attack on Kyiv, a 62-year-old American citizen died in a house in the Solomianskyi district of a place where doctors were providing assistance.”

According to Klitsko it was a big attack. “Enemy drones fly over the city from three directions. There is also a risk of rocket,” Klitsjko wrote on Telegram.

During the attack, among other things, the top floor of an apartment complex was damaged and a fire broke out in two different neighborhoods.

In recent weeks, Russia has fired a record number of drones and missiles on Ukraine, after the Ukrainian security service had carried out attacks deep on Russian territory on military bases and combat aircraft.
