That is why the OCMW will now use the Remi tool, a software that maps the financial needs and resources of the whole family. “From now on, the full financial image in a living situation will be taken into account when granting support,” says Verkeyn. “The calculation method can give rise to a lower amount than the standard barema, but never to a higher amount.”
