Where does Rayan Philippe go? The interested parties for the top striker of Eintracht Braunschweig are in line. Now he has apparently decided.
With 13 goals and six templates, Rayan Philippe played a significant role in the relegation of Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga. There is great interest in the BTSV striker: several clubs from the Bundesliga have the 24-year-old on the note. And now the Frenchman has apparently decided where he should continue in the future.
The “Abendblatt” and the “Braunschweiger Zeitung” report unanimously that Philippe will see himself in the jersey of Bundesliga promoted Hamburger SV. Accordingly, harmony has already been informed about the attacker’s request. The BTSV hopes for a transfer fee of three million euros for its best striker.
An agreement between the two clubs is still pending, but the HSV is ready, however, to pay a sum of the size. Philippe’s contract has also received validity for the upcoming second division season due to the whereabouts of Eintracht in the 2nd Bundesliga. The market value of the fast offensive man is estimated by the data portal “Transfermarkt.de” to three million euros.
The 24-year-old moved to Braunschweig from the Luxembourg first division team FC Swift Hesperingen in the summer of 2023 and had developed into an absolute top performer after initial problems. In total, he has 22 goals and eleven templates in 62 competitive games for the BTSV.
Before Philippe opted for the HSV, Mainz 05 is said to have been the first choice of the French. According to the “kicker”, however, the 05s had pushed a stop to the transfer after the BTSV held the class and was due for the striker. According to media reports, Werder Bremen, 1. FC Köln and 1. FC Heidenheim are also interested in Philippe.
