Alex G comes back to Europe and stops in Germany in autumn 2025. After the announcement of its North America tour, the singer-songwriter now also announces appointments for the European part of its tour. He also has new music in his luggage. And MusikExpress presents the two gigs in Germany.
Who is Alex G?
Born as Alexander Giannascoli in Pennsylvania, Alex G has long been one of the most exciting and idiosyncratic voices in the American Indie scene. Already at 17 he began to record his own music and published his debut album Race in 2010. In 2014 he made the breakthrough with DSU, a record that brought him on tours through North America and Europe for the first time.
In addition to his studio albums, Alex G also made a name for himself in the film area: he composed the soundtracks for the indie horror “We’re All Going to the World’s Fair” and for A24S “I Saw the TV Glow”.
Alex G is now looking back on a discography with nine studio albums. The tenth, titled headlights, will be released on July 18, 2025. The first single “Afterlife” is already outside.
