The race held at the 4.3-kilometer Gilles-Villeneuve Track in Montreal, was held over 70 laps.
Rusell, who completed the race in the pole position for 1 hour 31 minutes with 52.688 seconds, won the first win of the season.
Lando Norris of the Great British of McLaren, 3 rounds of finishing teammate trying to cross the Oscar Piastri’yi hit the wall out of the race. After Norris’s accident, the race ended with a security vehicle.
The Dutch Max Verstappen (Red Bull) came second behind the leader 0.228 seconds, and some Italian some Antonelli was third behind 1,014 seconds behind his teammate Russell.
The 11th race of the season will be the Austrian Grand Prix on June 29th.
