In the German Football Museum in Dortmund, the first round was drawn in the DFB Cup 2025/26 on Sunday from 5:15 p.m. Athlete Owen saw the “Losfee”, the pulling director was DFB Vice President Peter Frymuth.
The first round games will be held from August 15th to August 18th. With two exceptions: Master FC Bayern-near Wehen Wiesbaden-and defending champion VfB Stuttgart-at Eintracht Braunschweig-games only on August 26 or 27 or 27 August. There are two local meetings with the district derby between Rot-Weiss Essen and Borussia Dortmund as well as the game between Eintracht Norderstedt and FC St. Pauli.

After the start in August, the second round (October 28th and 29th) and the round of 16 (December 2 and 3) will take place this year. After the quarter -finals in February and the semi -finals in April, the final in the Berlin Olympic Stadium for May 23, 2026 is scheduled. Bayern with 20 titles are record champion, Mirko Votava experienced most of the matches in the competition with 79 missions, Gerd Müller met most frequently (78 times).
