At Schoten on a demonstration against Trump in Salt Lake City in the state of Utah on Saturday, at least one person was seriously injured, the police said. On X, the police said that one person with life -threatening injuries was taken to the hospital. A suspect has been arrested.
Biggest demonstrations against Trump
The demonstrations are the biggest against Trump since he is president for the second time. They take place on the same day that a military parade is held in honor of the 250th anniversary of the American armed forces and the 79th anniversary of President Trump.
In the state of Minnesota the demonstrations were canceled after a shooter had attacked two democratic politicians and their spouses. Member of the House of Representatives of Minnesota Melissa Hortman and her husband died, Senator John Hoffman of Minnesota and his wife were injured. The police have announced the name of the shooter, Vance Boelter (57) and are looking for him.
