After the first three European races this year, Formula 1 will stop in North America this week. At the Grand Prix of Canada, the racing drivers are challenged on the high -speed route from Montreal. On the weekend of June 13th to 15th, three training sessions, qualifying and the race take place. All information about the TV/streaming times of the individual sessions is available here.
The Canada Grand Prix has been one of the fixed dates in the Formula 1 calendar for years. Since 1978, Montreal has been driven on the Ile Notre-Dame at the gates of the Canadian metropolis. Since then, the Canada race has been part of the F1 program with a few exceptions.
This year, the McLaren drivers Oscar Piatri and Lando Norris are the favorites for the racing victory, since the two also lead the driver’s ranking after nine of 24 Grands Prix.
The race can be seen on Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. (German time) live on free TV at RTL.
The reigning world champion Max Verstappen has also done a lot for the Grand Prix of Canada and wants to ride in the Red Bull for his third win of the season.
It was also the Dutch superstar who has dominated in Montreal in recent years, since he won the last three editions of the Canada GPS.
