And motorcyclist went down on the Vijfhuizenlaan in Riel on Saturday evening and ended up in the ditch. The man was injured and was treated in the water on the spot. Bystanders have lifted the victim out of the water. He was taken to the hospital with an ambulance.
The police have investigated the cause of the motorcycle accident, but it is not yet known what exactly happened.
