Today it is the German number one in 60th place in the world rankings.
“I think you can’t ignore something like that – there should always be consequences for that. Arguments like ‘but that’s the case and that has always been the case!’ Have never pulled with me if something is not going properly.
Despite the hostility, Lys still gives insights into her life on Instagram. She also shows her almost 200,000 followers there. “It is important to me to show different perspectives from sport. And to change the stigma of women in sport a bit,” said tennis player, born in Ukraine.
