A motorist got off the road this morning on the Ermerstraat near Erm and drove hard against a tree. In addition, the driver was trapped in his delivery van.
Around 11 am the driver lost control of his vehicle and bumped into the tree. Among other things, a trauma helicopter was urgently called to come to the scene of the accident. Firefighters had to free the victim from the car. The Ermerstraat is completely closed to traffic.
