A car ended up on Saturday morning Pardoes in the water at the Rijt in Oirschot. The driver had went for a walk with his dog. He had parked the car on a piece of grass next to the canal, but had forgotten to put the handbrake on it.
Someone who saw the car ended up in the water warned the emergency services. The fire brigade, the police and ambulance staff pulled out in a big way, but found out on the spot that the driver was not in it.
Challenge
Due to the car in the water, shipping traffic was stopped. Bergen could be a challenge, because about 45 meters must be bridged from the road.
