Does a 2006 World Cup hero relieve the troubled Squadra Azzurra in your tough trainer search? According to a report, the long-time Milan professional Gennaro Gattuso is about to become the new national coach in Italy. As “Sky” reports in Italy, the contractual signatures are to take place next week, a meeting with Gabriele Gravina, President of the Italian Football Association (FIGC), was previously well. Other prominent Italian trainers such as Carlo Ancelotti (National Coach of Brazil), Antonio Conte (SSC Naples) or Massimiliano Allegri (AC Milan) are contractually bound.
The four-time world champion Italy is currently fearing that after two missed World Cup tournaments in the USA, Canada and Mexico in a row. In the last game with Spalletti, last Monday in qualifying against Moldau it was only a poor 2-0 (1: 0). The group victory is currently a long way off. Norway is far ahead.
